Face Basics

1. EYES ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HEAD. NOT THE TOP.
2. The bottom of the ear-lobes are on the same level as the bottom of the nose.
3. The top of the ears are on the same level as the edge of the eyebrows.
4. The distance between the eyes is the same as the width of one eye.

Note: Don't draw your necks too skinny.

More tips will be added later, but use these four main ones as you draw your faces.

Some of the parts of the eye we talked about in class were:
1. The eyeball
2. The eyelids
3. Tear ducts
4. The iris
5. The pupil

**TOMORROW's ART CLASS IS RESCHEDULED TO THURSDAY (8/13/09). STARTING NEXT WEEK, CLASS WILL BE ON SATURDAYS AT 10:30 AM.**

Art Class Schedule Change

I will be starting school in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays toward the end of August. This means that Art Class will need to be rescheduled to another time. I am thinking that Saturdays would be the best time. When are you available? Email, comment, and/or text feedback are welcome.
